Brief Overview

The Glade Redevelopment project in Dorrigo, led by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, aimed to revitalize the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre to enhance tourism and celebrate the area’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. With Frontier Assembly as the main contractor in the initial stage of this redevelopment.

The project focused on upgrading essential infrastructure to support new public amenities, improve accessibility, and create a more engaging visitor experience. The initiative is part of a larger plan to position Dorrigo as a key destination in regional NSW.

According to our project lead Jonny Green, this project marks “the start of something big” for the region.

Services Provided

Lined Electrical was responsible for delivering key electrical infrastructure to support Stage 1 of the redevelopment for Frontier Assembly. This included the installation of underground electrical and communication conduits servicing the new toilet block, as well as the installation of a new main switchboard. These services were essential to modernizing the facility and enabling future stages of the redevelopment. With precision and attention to environmental sensitivity, the team ensured minimal disruption to the surrounding rainforest area. These foundational upgrades provide the backbone for improved public amenities and form a crucial part of enhancing the visitor experience in the Dorrigo National Park precinct.
